::::::::::::!All you need to know about the elite four!::::::::::::

Items you should bring: Suppose if you were smart to not spend your money on dolls or mats, you should by lots of this.

Hyper Potion (at least 20), Revive (At least 14), Full heal (Depending on how immune your Pokemon are to status problems...), Ether/Elixir (Most people collect these through the game. Perfect for the strong moves with only 5/10pp)

Trainer 1: Sidney

This trainer has Dark-type Pokemon. Be careful, Psychic moves on a dark Pokemon are like Ground moves to a Flying type. No effect whatsoever. And Dark is super-effective against Psychic and Ghost. Dark is also not very effective against Fighting, Steel and other Dark Pokemon. And they are weak against Fighting and Bug moves. I suggest you bring a Fighting or Bug type into the league. Machoke, Hariyama or Ninjask are good bets. Also, a fire and electric Pokemon helps for Shiftry, Cacturne and Sharpedo. Just be careful, his Absol knows Aerial Ace, super-effective against both Bug and Fighting.

His Pokemon:

Trainer 2: Phoebe

This trainer has Ghost-type Pokemon, so Normal-type moves has no effect. Ghost is super-effective against Psychic mainly. Ghost isn't good against Dark and Steel. Ghost's weakness is Dark-type moves. The funny thing is, Normal doesn't touch Ghost, and Ghost doesn't touch Normal. The suggestion is: Take a Normal-type in there with a Dark move like the move "Thief". Anyhow, for this trainer, a Sharpedo or Absol would be perfect.

Her Pokemon:

Trainer 3: Glacia

The name says it all, this trainer uses Ice-type Pokemon. Knock them out with Fire-type. They're resistant to Water and they beat out Dragon. She has 2 Sealeos and a Walrein. It is suggested you take those three down with electricity. I suggest for her two Glalies, you use Fire-type and use electricity for the rest. The perfect Pokemon for the Glalies is a Ninetales or Blaziken. The rest, take down with a well trained Manectric or Raichu.

Her Pokemon:

Trainer 4: Drake (however you spell his name...)

Okay, Dragon-type are this trainer's specialty. Take them all down with Ice-type. Just be careful what you do with Salamence. I might suggest Electric-type that could have been super-effective but Dragon is resistant to it and flying is weak against it... Use a water Pokemon with an Ice move for Salamence and a good Ice-type for the rest. Try a Sharpedo with Ice-beam like in the suggested team below.

His pokemon:

Champion: Steven

This guy has no true preference, but three of his pokemon are Steel. For this battle, I suggest a Water Pokemon with Ice moves for Cradily and Water moves for Armaldo, Claydol and Aggron. A fast Fire-type pokemon with strong moves like Fire Blast are perfect for Skarmory and Metagross.
